A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO
THE LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972 FOR THE LEVY AND
COLLECTION OF THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENTS AND ORDERING
THE DISTRICT’S ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND TO FILE A REPORT
RELATED TO MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO LANDSCAPING, LIGHTING, AND PARK
DISTRICT NO. 1, AND ANY ASSESSMENT THEREON FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2026-2027
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of San Jacinto Landscaping, Lighting , and Park
District No.1 was created pursuant to Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and
Highways Code (Section 22500, et. seq.); and
WHEREAS, California Streets and Highways Code Section 22622 provides that
this Council shall adopt a Resolution generally describing any proposed new
improvements or substantial changes in existing improvements in such a District and
ordering the City Engineer, or designated District Engineer, to prepare and file a report
related to annual maintenance and assessment in such a District; and
WHEREAS, no new improvements or substantial changes in existing
improvements are proposed for said Landscaping, Lighting , and Park District No. 1
(LLPD No. 1); and
WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have
occurred.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, determined and ordered by the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto, California as follows:
SECTION 1: The Recitals, as set forth in this Resolution, are in all respects true
and correct.
SECTION 2: NBS, the designated Assessment District Engineer, is ordered and
directed to prepare an annual report as specified in the California
Streets and Highways Code Section 22565, et. seq. with respect to
the LLPD No.1 for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 2nd day of June 2026, by the following vote :
AYES: Ruiz, Sanchez, Ayala, Ledezma, Vandever
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
