RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF LOT G OF FINAL PARCEL
MAP 6832 INTO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO ROAD SYSTEM
WHEREAS, California Streets and Highway § 1806 (b) allows for the acceptance
of dedications into the city street system, by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map 6832 was recorded with the Riverside County Clerk
and Recorder on February 28, 1977 in Map Book 32, at Pages 36-42; and
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map 6832 subdivided the property and offered a 44-foot
wide easement for road and utility purposes over all of Lot G, which was not accepted at
that time by the City; and
WHEREAS, Final Tract Map 37881 has yet to be recorded with the Riverside
County Clerk and Recorder; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of this right of way is to facilitate the construction of Final
Tract Map 37881, as the developer is required to construct a drainage facility in the newly
accepted right of way from their detention basin to the natural discharge point of the area
near Metropolitan Water District property, by directing the flows away from City streets
and provide an adequate outlet for the Tract’s onsite flows; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto considers the acceptance of the dedication of
Lot G as in the public’s best interest for orderly development in conformance with the
City of San Jacinto’s General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, ORDERED AND FOUND by the San
Jacinto City Council, State of California, as follows:
1. Accept the dedication of Lot G of Final Parcel Map 6832 into the City of San Jacinto
roadway system per final map recorded on February 28, 1977 in Book 32 of Parcel
Maps, Pages 36-42.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to record the acceptance of dedication with the County
Clerk and Recorder per California Streets and Highway Code § 1806 (b).
