A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO ORDERING THE DETACHMENT OF
TERRITORY FROM LANDSCAPING, LIGHTING, AND
PARK DISTRICT NO. 2
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto (hereafter referred
to as the “City Council”) has, by previous Resolutions , approved the formation of, and
annexation to, Landscaping, Lighting, and Park District No. 2 (hereafter referred to as
the “District”), pursuant to the provisions of the Landscape and Lighting Act of 1972,
Part 2, Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (commencing with
Section 22500) (hereafter referred to as the “Act”) to pay the costs and expenses of
operating, maintaining and servicing the improvements located within the District; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council intends to detach from the District the
territory identified in Exhibit A, as a Community Facilities District is now in place to pay
the costs and expenses of operatin g, maintaining, and servicing the improvements
located within the District.
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on March 18, 2025, on objections
to the detachment of the property from the District, and all interested persons were
afforded the opportunity to hear and be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City Council hereby orders the detachment of the property
identified in Exhibit A from the District.

PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of March 2025, by the following
vote:

The area to be detached from the District is listed below and includes the original Landscape
Maintenance District Name, Zone designation and annexation number.

Zone No. 12)
The following map shows the territory included in the successor CFD and therefore subject to
detachment from the District. The map reflects the property configuration at the time of
formation of the respective CFD Tax Zone.
The following listing shows the fiscal year 2024/25 Assessor’s Parcel Numbers for the territory
included in the successor CFD and, therefore, subject to detachment from the District.
