Mayor Alonzo Ledezma called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.1. Final Local Road Safety Plan
City Engineer Stuart McKibbin and Emily Finkel from Fehr & Peers Consulting
presented the staff report.
M/S/C (Ruiz/Ledezma) made a motion to receive and file the Local Road Safety Plan
(LRSP). Motion carried 5/0.

4.2. Ramona Expressway Median Art Project, Phase 1
City Engineer Stuart McKibbin and Interwest's Management Analyst Timothy
Hamlin presented the staff report.
M/S/C (Ruiz/Ledezma) made a motion to (1) approve the plans and specifications for
the Ramona Expressway Median Art Project, Phase 1; (2) award the construction
contract to Universal Construction and Engineering in the amount of $298,694.23; (3)
allocate 19 percent of the bid amount for soft costs and 10 percent of the bid amount
for construction contingencies; (4) reject all other bids; and (5) authorize the City
Manager to execute the construction contract. Motion carried 4/0.

5. FUTURE REQUESTS FROM CITY COUNCIL TO STAFF
City Manager Rob Johnson reported that an update on the Homeless Awareness and
Response Program (HARP) and food truck vendors will be discussed at a future City
Council meeting.
6. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business before the City Council, Mayor Ledezma adjourned the Regular
Meeting of the City Council at 8:13 pm.
