RESOLUTION F T H E C I T Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JCI T , CALIFORNIA, ADOPTINGTE DEDICATION OF CERTAIN
RIVERSIDE O TRANSPORTATION COMMI IPROPERTY
FOR LIC LAND PURPOSES
WHEREAS, The City of San Jacinto and Riverside County Transportation
Commission (ROTC) is engaged in the activities necessary to execute and implement
the land dedication for the location near State Street for public street purposes with all
the rights to construct and maintain utilities, sewers, drains, and other improvements
consistent with the use as a public street; and
H EREAS, The City Council finds that acceptance of the dedication conforms to
the City°s General Plan and that, pursuant to Government Code section 6 02(a) the
Planning Commission does not have to report on the dedication because it involves the
disposition of the remainder of a larger parcel which was acquired and used in part for
street purposes; and
WHEREAS, The City of San Jacinto and RCTC are undertaking certain activities
necessary for the dedication of land pursuant to the provisions of the Government Code
section 7050; and
WHEREAS, As part of that effort, RCTC has prepared an irrevocable offer of
dedication to transfer CTC's interest to the City; and are dedicating the west half of
State Street to Hemet and the east half to San Jacinto. Attached are the
plats and legals for reference; and
WHEREAS, RCTC has prepared an irrevocable offer of dedication to transfer
RCTC°s interest to the City that will be executed after the adoption of the resolution from
City Council; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto:
SECTION 1. Fin IjUS& The agency finds and determines, based on the
information made available in the staff report accompanying this Resolution, the oral
presentation of staff at the meeting at which this resolution is adopted, and more
particularly described and depicted on Exhibits "A" and "" attached hereto, and by this
reference made a part hereof. and other written and oral evidence presented to the

SECTIQN 2. Authorization. City of San Jacinto approves the dedication
I of the property and authorizes the City Manager, pursuant to review and approval
u by the City Attorney, to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the
dedication.
