RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF LOTS A, B, C, K, AND L OF
FINAL PARCEL MAP 33137 INTO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO ROAD
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, California Streets and Highway § 1806 (b) allows for the acceptance
of dedication into the city street system, by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map 33137 was recorded with the Riverside County
Clerk and Recorder on September 18, 2008 as instrument Number 2008-0510324; and
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map 33137 is a seven -lot financing map on the north
side of Esplanade Avenue, 1,320.07 ft. west of Cawston Avenue and east of
Metropolitan Water District Aqueduct; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto is moving ahead of the proposed Final
Parcel Map 33137 development, widening Esplanade Avenue from Sanderson Avenue
to Warren Road; and
WHEREAS, the Esplanade Avenue Widening is being implemented through the
acquisition and/or acceptance of dedication of right of way along the north side of
Esplanade Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto considers the acceptance of dedication of
Lots A, B, C for public road use, as an action in the public's best interest for the orderly
development of Esplanade Avenue Widening per the City of San Jacinto's General Plan
Circulation Element; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto considers the acceptance of Lots K and L for
utility use, as an action in the public's best interest for the orderly development of
Esplanade Avenue Widening; and
WHEREAS, Esplanade Avenue is designated as a major roadway, 112' wide,
with four travel lanes, two in each direction, painted median, curb, gutter and sidewalk;
and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto is securing the right of way needs for the
Esplanade Avenue Widening from Sanderson Avenue to Warren Road; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of dedication of Lots A, B, C, K and L are essential to
the implementation of Esplanade Avenue Widening from Sanderson Avenue to Warren
Road;
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the San Jacinto City Council, State
of California, as follows:
Accept Final Parcel Map 33137 dedication of Lots A, B, C, for public road use
and Lots K and L for public utility use, into the City of San Jacinto roadway
system.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to record the acceptance of dedication with the
County Clerk and Recorder per California Streets and Highway Code § 1806
(b).

California the 7th day of July 2020, by the following vote:
