RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF LOT B OF FINAL PARCEL MAP
10020 INTO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO ROAD SYSTEM
WHEREAS, California Streets and Highway § 1806 (b) allows for the
acceptance of dedications into the city street system, by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map 10020 was recorded with the Riverside County
Clerk and Recorder on December 9, 1977 in Map Book 43, at Page 18; and
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map 10020 subdivided the property into 2 lots and
offered a 50-foot wide easement for road and utility purposes over all of Lot B, which
was not accepted at that time by the City; and
WHEREAS, Lot B has subsequently been paved, had sidewalk installed and
been named Camellia Way; and
WHEREAS, Final Tract Map 31979 was recorded on May 20, 2014 with the
Riverside County Cleric and Recorder as Instrument No. 2014-0182923; and
WHEREAS, Final Tract Map 31979 subdivided 11 lots at the end of Camellia
Way and requires Camellia Way for access to its residents; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto considers the acceptance of the dedication
of Lot B as essential in order to provide City maintained access to the residents of Tract
31979, and in the public's best interest for orderly development in conformance with the
City of San Jacinto's General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, ORDERED AND FOUND by the San
Jacinto City Council, State of California, as follows:
1. Accept the dedication of Lot B of Final Parcel Map 10020 into the City of San
Jacinto roadway system per final map recorded on December 9, 1977 in Book
43 of Parcel Maps, Page 18.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to record the acceptance of dedication with the
County Clerk and Recorder per California Streets and Highway Code § 1806
(b).
