Mayor Russ Utz called the meeting to order at 6:34 pm.

M/S/C (Utz/Ruiz) moved to excuse the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Kotyuk. Motion carried 3/0.

4. DISCUSSION ITEMS - CITY COUNCIL
4.1. Closeout of Community Facilities District No. 2: An ordinance of the City
of San Jacinto authorizing the dissolution of the special tax lien on
property within Community Facilities District No. 2 of the City of San Jacinto
Finance Director Michelle Holmes presented the staff report.
MIS/C (Ruiz/Utz) moved to approve the closeout of Community Facilities District No. 2. Motion
carried 3/0.

4.2 Discussion of City Seal Competition Entries
City Manager Robert A. Johnson presented the two entries from San Jacinto residents Edie
Gaviria and Richard Gaviria and provided a brief history of the City Seal.
Councilmember Ruiz made a motion to declare Mrs. Gaviria the winner of the City Seal
Competition.
M/SIC (Ruiz/Ledezma) amended her motion to combine the two design entries of the City Seal and
approve City Manager Johnson to work with Edie and Richard Gaviria on the final
design. Motion carried 3/0.

4.3 Oral Report of Financial Provisions of Proposed City Manager Contract and City
Council Approval of Contract
City Attorney Michael J. Maurer presented the staff report.
M/S/C (Ledezma/Ruiz) moved to approve the proposed City Manager Contract. Motion carried 3/0.

7. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business before the City Council, Mayor Utz adjourned the Regular
Meeting of the City Council at 7:40 pm.
