A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO PROCLAIMING THE CONTINUED
EXISTENCE OF A LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY DUE
TO STORM, FLOODS AND TORRENTIAL RAIN
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2019, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
("City Council") adopted Resolution No. 3751 proclaiming the existence of a local state
of emergency due to storm, floods and heavy rain throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, the conditions that prompted the City Council to adopt Resolution
No.3751 continue to exist in the City; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 8630 requires the City Council
to periodically review the need for continuing the local state of emergency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto that the resolution proclaiming the existence of a local state of emergency due
to storm, floods and heavy rain, as adopted and issued by the City Council on
February 19, 2019, is hereby ratified, confirmed and still required.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of San Jacinto,
that the local state of emergency shall be deemed to continue to exist until the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto proclaims its termination.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 19th day of March 2019, by the
following vote:
