A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF AN
ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto (the "City Council"), held a
consolidated municipal election November 4, 2008, as designated by the Resolution No.
3177; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has also established a procedure by adopting
regulations per Resolution No. 3178 for the candidates for elective office, pertaining to
the electorate and the costs thereof for the General Municipal Election to be held in the
city of San Jacinto on November 4, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Riverside County Registrar of Voters certified the results of the
canvass for the November 4, 2008, election to the San Jacinto City Clerk on December
2, 2008, as required by state law; and
WHEREAS, the results of said certified canvass are attached as Exhibit A,
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, determined and ordered by the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto, that at this time the City Council desires to declare
the results of the election:
SECTION 1. Recitals. The above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. Findings. This City Council does hereby determine the following
candidates were elected to city council as follows:
Jim Ayres
Steven Di Memmo
Jim Potts
SECTION 3. Findings: This City council does hereby determine the following
candidate was elected to be the city treasurer:
Bernie Simon

APPROVED, SIGNED and ADOPTED this 4th day of December, 2008, by the
following vote:
Ayes: Ayres, Mansperger, Potts, Stubblefield
Nays: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
