A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
MAKING A FINDING OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
RELATED TO OFF-SALE BEER AND WINE LICENSE FOR RAMONA
PRODUCE LOCATED AT 794 N. RAMONA BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, Ramona Produce has submitted an application to the Alcohol Beverage
Control Board (ABC) for an Off-Sale Beer and wine license &Type 20).
WHEREAS, this application is located in a census tract determined by the ABC to
have "undue concentration";
WHEREAS, the ABC cannot issue this license without a finding of public
convenience and necessity by the City Council;
WHEREAS, the sale of beer and wine at Ramona Produce is a convenience to the
public at large and will not be detrimental to the community,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, based on the foregoing, the City
Council hereby adopts a Resolution of Convenience and Necessity in order to allow the
granting of the Off-Sale Beer and Wine license for Ramona Produce, located at 794 North
Ramona Boulevard.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the said City Council on
the 18th of March, 1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Good, Smedley and rlayor Cornett
NOES: Councilmembers Conner and 14illiams
ABSENT: None
