A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A REQUEST FOR DETACHMENT, SOUTH OF
ESPLANADE BETWEEN KiRSY AND SANDERSON
WHEREAS, annexation issues in the area have been discussed extensively and
the City of San Jacinto has decided not to pursue annexation in the area; and
WHEREAS, the residents have petitioned the City Council to support their
request to detach from the City of San Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 57079, a request to detach
must be approved by Resolution 'of the governing body.
NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San Jacinto, California, to approve the detachment request, as shown in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembe ,s Cornett , Goad, 4illiams an. ' ayor Smedlev
l NOES: -ouncilmember Conner
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN;None
