A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
1 SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING RATES FOR
THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND RUBBISH COLLECTED
2 WITHIN OR BY THE SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
'AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. This resolution supersedes Resolution No. 1879,
5 adopted the 22nd day of May, 1990.
B Section 2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish
collected not less than twice during each calendar week, there
7 shall be assessed and charged:
8 (a) For the owner or occupant of residences: $9.41 per
month.

(b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings
10 each having kitchen facilities: $9.41 per month for
the first unit and $8.98 for each additional unit
1 regardless whether occupied or not.
12 (c) For the owner or operator of any commercial establish-
ment, except as set forth in sub-paragraph (d) below,
the following charges shall be assessed!
14 (1) Bin service shall be at the rate of $5.14 per cubic
15 yard of volume of the bin container maintained at
each establishment, with a minimum 2 yard charge.
16 This rate shall he for once-per-week service at a 2
yard container rate of $41.45 per month.
17 (11) Commercial barrel service shall be $10.46 per month
18 for twice-weekly service.
19 (d) Mobilehome parks having refuse picked up at each
space but the fees are billed to and paid by the
20 operator shall be charged on the same basis as sub-
paragraph (a) above.
Other Mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial 1
22 rate if refuse is collected at central locations or
the residential rates for individual collection with
23 individual billing and payment pursuant to sub-paragraph
(a) above.

(e) The City Council may provide that rubbish not included
25 within the definition of either "garbage" or "waste",
as provided in Section 13.68.010 Of the Municipal code
26 be collected by the City for such charge the City
Manager or other officer of the Contracting Party so
27 authorized by the City Council may determine to be
fair and proper in each individual ease.

For extra dump requests: $30.00 for all sizes of cubic
29 yard bins.
30 Section 3. This rate resolution shall become effective for
the trash and refuse billing, effective January 1, 1991.

Section 4. The City Council does so resolve pursuant to
32 the authority vested in it by the provision of section
13.68.140 of the San Jacinto Municipal Code.
