A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
2 CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
3 TO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
(ANNEXATION NO. 64)

5 WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Riverside
County adopted its Resolution No. 87-90 on the 6th day of
6 December, 1990, making determinations and approving the
proposed annexation to the City of San Jacinto of territory
7 described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of annexation as approved
9 by the Local Agency Formation Commission are set forth in Exhibit
"B" hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and

WHEREAS, the reasons for this proposed annexation are:

1. The proposal represents a logical and orderly
12 extension of the boundaries of the City of San Jacinto.
13 2. The City of San Jacinto is capable of providing
improved municipal services to the Territory.

3. The annexation is proposed in order to provide
15 municipal services by the City of San Jacinto for the territory to
be annexed; and
16
WHEREAS, the regular county assessment roll is utilized by
17 this City; and
18 WHEREAS, the affected territory will not be taxed for
19 existing general bonded indebtedness of this City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council certifies that the Planning
20 Commission of the Cityof San Jacinto has
performed the required i
environmental review and has granted a Negative Declaration
21 pursuant to City policy; and
22 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto was designated conducting
authority and was authorized to proceed without notice, hearing,
23 or election as set forth in Exhibit "S".
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the j
City of San Jacinto hereby orders the territory described in [
25 Exhibit "A" annexed, and directs the City Clerk of the City of f
San Jacinto to transmit a certified copy of this resolution with
26 applicable fees required by Section 54902.5 of the Government
Code to the executive officer of the Local Agency Formation
27 Commission of Riverside County.
28 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of ianuary,i991 by
29 the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Boykin, Ford, Hafliger and Rose and
30 Councilwoman Leahy

That portion of Farm Lots 100, 101 and 107 of the lands of the
Sar Jacinto Land Association as shown by map on file in book 8 of
Maps, Page 357, Records of San Diego County, California, lying
within Sections• 23 and 26, Township 4 South, Range 1 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian, being more particularly described as
illows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Tract No. 8319 as shown
by map on file in Book 104 of Maps, Pages 97 through 101,
inclusive, Records of Riverside County, California, said southeast
corner being also a point on the south line of said Section 23 and
an angle point in the boundary line of Annexation No. 45 to the
city of San Jacinto;
Thence Nerth 0`1814311 west along the east line of said Tract
No. 8319, being also along said boundary line of Annexation No, 45
to the Zity of San Jacinto, a distance of 2641.70 feet to an
•tersection with the north line of said Farm Lot 107, said
_ntersection being also an angle point in the boundary line of
Annexation No. 48 to the City of San Jacinto;
Thence North 89'42122" East along said north line, being also
along said houndary line of Annexation No. 48 to the City of San
Jacinto, a distance of 918.64 feet to the northeast corner of said
Farm Lot 107 (shown as 980 feet, more or less, on said Annexation
No. 4e) , said northeast corner being also an angle point in said

the easterly line of said Farm Lot 107 a distance of 1087.64 feet

said intersection being also a point on the aforesaid boundary line
of Annexation No. 45 to the City of San Jacinto and a point on the

HE IT RESOLVED AND DETERMINED by the Local Agency
9 Formation Commission in regular session assembled on December 6,
10 '11990 , that the annexation of approximately 58 acres generally
11 ' north of Ramona Expressway, east of Western Village Road, and
12 south of Montrose Avenue, as more particularly described in
3 Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part hereof, is
14 approved.
15 ! BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND FOUND that:
16 1. commission proceedings were commenced by petition
17 of KBE Partnership.
18 2 . All owners of land within the territory to be
19 ' annexed have given written consent to the annexation.
20 . 3 . The annexation is proposed to provide more
211 municipal services by the City of San Jacinto.
221 4 . The distinctive short form designation of the
a3 proposed annexation is LAFCO No. 90-37-3 , Annexation No. 64 to
24 city of San Jacinto.
25 5. An environmental assessment was made on the
26 proposal and a negative declaration filed thereon by the City of
27 San Jacinto pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
28l Act . The negative declaration has been reviewed and considered

I and is hereby adopted.
2 5 . The boundaries of the territory as set forth in
Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference, have been approved by the County Surveyor, are
5 contiguous to the City of San Jacinto, and are approved.
6 7 . The territory to be annexed is uninhabited, there
7 being fewer than 12 registered voters residing therein.
g 9 . The City of San Jacinto is designated conducting
g authority and is authorized to proceed without notice, hearing
10 or election.
11 10. The Executive Officer is directed to transmit a
12 certified copy of this Resolution to the above-designated
3 conducting authority, to the chief petitioners , if different
14 from the conducting authority, and each affected agency.
