RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
2 CALIFORNIA, INDICATING PRELIMINARY INTF,NT TO FORM AN ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT FOR FLOOD CONTROL PURPOSES

t1 THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING

W H 8 R 9 A S , the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
G CALIFORNIA, at this time is desirous to form a special assess-
inent district for flood control purposes under the terms and
7 provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913" , being
Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California , sa-d special assessment district to be known and
designated as ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 90-1 (DRAINAGE) ; and,

WHEREAS, in order to finance said improvements, it is also
10 proposed that bonds shall issue pursuant to the terms and
provisions of the " Improvement Bond act of 1915" , being Division
10 of said Cade; and
12 WHEREAS, at this time a preliminary plat has been submitted
generally ohowing the boundaries and parcels proposed to be '
assessed for the works of improvement as proposed to be
constructed and financed under the Assessment District proceed-
14 ings ; and,
15 WHEREAS, this City Council is further desirous to specifically
condition and require all development projects within the bounds-
16 rise of the Assessment District to he included and pay the i;NOW
proportionate share for the flood control improvements.

NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
18 City of San Jacinto, in regular aession, thin 20th day of
November , 1990, as follows:

1 . That the above recitals are all true and correct .

2 . That the plat as presented designated ac "PLAT FOR ASSESS-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 90-1 (DRAINAGE) " is hereby preliminarily
approved and ordered to be kept on file in the Office of the
22 City Clerk and remain open for public inspection.
ti3 3. That this City Council does hereby indicate its preliminary
intention to form an Assessment District for flood control
24 purposes ur.rier the provisions of the "Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913", with special assessments to be levied on all
251 benefited properties within the boundaries of the Assessment
District .

A . That this City Council also will require all development
27 approvals on projects within the boundaries of the special
Assessment District to he specifically conditioned upon
28 being included within the Spectal Assessment District .
29 5 . That the City of San Jacinto shall be the lead agency and
conduct all ner:pssary proceedings relatiny to the formation
30 of the special Assessment District, confirmation of the
assessment and issuance of bonds .
