RESOLUTION NO. 1915
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
1 SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
2 SAN JACINTO (ANNEXATION NO. 62)

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
4
adopted Resolution No_ 1B22 acknowledging receipt of the
5
petition for annexation, consented to such annexation and
6
authorized the submittal of the appropriate application to
7 j
the Local Agency Formation Commission; and I
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission by Resol-
ution No. 46-90, dated July 26, 1990, designated the City
10
of San Jacinto as the conducting authority and authorized the
1
annexation designated, Local Agency Formation Commission No.

90-19-3, to proceed subject to the terms and conditions of the
13
Government Code Section 57000 et seq. ; and
14
WHEREAS, on October 2 , 1990, the City Council of the City
15
16
of San Jacinto adopted Resolution No. 1912 initiating proceed-
17 ings for this annexation; and
18 WHEREAS, the City Council, acting as the conducting
19 authority, opened the public hearing on November 6, 1990, and
24 after receiving oral and written testimony, closed the public

hearing on November 20, 1990; and
22 WHEREAS, the City Clerk has evaluated the sufficiency and
value of written and oral protest filed and not withdrawn in

accordance with Government Code commencing with Section 57050.

25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
26 the City of San Jacinto, declares and determines as follows:
27 1_ That no valid written protest was filed and not with-
28 drawn from properly uwners or registered voters
29 within the affected territory_
30 2. The value of oral protests filed and not withdrawn
31 regarding this proposed annexation at the public
,2 ' hearing represents less than 25 percent of the number
of owners of land and less than 25 percent of the
total assessed valuation within the affected territory.

3. The City Council declares that no majority protest

has been made with respect to Annexation No_ fie, and
3
4 the territory is hereby ordered annexed to the City of
San Jacinto.

4. The territory referred to herein is described as set
6
forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and made
7
a part hereof.

5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to take the necessary
9
10 steps to complete this annexation as required by the
Government Code.

12 MOVED, PASSED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
13 Council held on the 20th day of November 1990, by the following
vote:
