1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO REQUESTING THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS
2 OFFICE OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY TO CONSOLIDATE A GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF SAID CITY TO BE HELD ON
3 NOVEMBER 6 1990 WITH ANY OTHER ELECTION BEING HELD
IN THE SAME TERRITORY WITH THE SAME VOTERS AND TO
4 HE HELD ON THE SAME DATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 23302
OF THE ELECTION CODE

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San ,7acinto called
6 a General Municipal Election in said City to be held November 6,
1990 for the purpose of the election cf three ( 1 ) Members
7 of the City Council, a City Clerk and a City Treasurer of said
City; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable that said general municipal
9 election be consolidated with any other election being held
in the same territory, with the same voters and to be held
10 on the same date, and that within said city the precincts,
polling places and election officers of the two elections be
11 the same, that the Registrar of the County of Riverside canvass
the returns of the general municipal election and that any
12 other election being held in the same territory with the same
voters and to be held on the same date, and the general
13 municipal election be held in all respects as if there were
only one election.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
15 JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
,,,%%W 16 Section 1. That pursuant to the requirements of Section
23302 of the Elections Code, the Registrar of Voters of the
17 County of Riverside is hereby requested to consent and agree
to the consolidation of a general municipal election with any
18 other election being held in the same territory, with the same
voters and to be held on the same date, Tuesday, November 6,
19 1990, for the purpose of the election of three ( 3) Members
of the City Council, a City Clerk and a City Treasurer of said
20 City.
?1 : Section 2. Said Registrar is hereby authorized to canvass
22 the returns of said general municipal election which is hereby
requested to consolidate with any other election being held
in the same territory, with the same voters .end to be held
23
on the same date, and said election shall he held in all
respects as if there were only one election, and only one form
24 of ballot be used.
25i Section 3. The City of San Jacinto recognizes that
26 additional costs will be incurred by the County by reason of
this consoldiation and aqrees to reimburse the County for any
a13ch rests.

1 Section 4. That the City Clerk of the City of San Jacint
is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this resolution T
2 with the Registrar of Voters of Riverside County.
