2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT OF THE CITY
3 MANAGER OF SAID CITY MADE PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS
OF RESOLUTION NO. 1981 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California

did in Resolution No. 1881 adopted June 5, 1990,to the provisions
7
of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972" of the State of
8
California (Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and highways
9
Code of said State) , require the City Manager to make and file
10
with the Clerk of the City Council a report in writing presenting
11
certain matters relating to certain street lighting fixtures and
12
appurtenances and proposed maintenance thereof, including the
13
maintenance of all such fixtures and appurtenances throughout
14
said Districts and to the maintenance of landscaping in various
15
areas within said Districts as contemplated under the provision

of said "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972"; and
17
WHEREAS, said City Manager, pursuant to the requirements of said

City Council as expressed in Resolution No. 1881 and of said law,
19
did make on the 3rd day of Julv 1990 file in the Office of the
20
'1 City Clerk (who is ex-officio Clerk of the City Council) of said
22 City, his report in writing responsive to the requirements of
said Resolution No. 1881 and of said law referred to in said
23
24 Resolution No. 1881 and as contemplated under the provision of
25 said "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972; and
26 WHEREAS, said City clerk has presenved the said report to the
City Council of said City, and said council has proceeded to
27
carefully examine, inspect, consider and is satisfied with said
28
29 report and with each and all of the items therein set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,

311 CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS;

SECTION 1. That the report of the City Manager of the City of
San Jacinto, California, bearing date the 3rd of July, 1990,
Resolution No. 1882

which said report was prepared and filed pursuant to the

requirements of the provisions of Resolution No. 1881 of the City
3
Council of said City, and in conformity with the provision of the
4
1 "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 197211, of the State of
5
California (Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways

Code of said State) , and which said report was filed in the
7
office of th City Clerk (who is ex-officio Clerk of the City
8
Council) of the City of San Jacinto, California, on the 3rd day
9
of July 1990, be and the same is hereby approved as so prepared,
10
presented and filed.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and

adoption of this Resolution, shall cause the same to be entered
13
, among the original resolutions of the City Council of said City
14 '
and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in
15
the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City
16
in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and
17
adopted.
