A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
1 OF BAN JACINTO, APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
ELEMENT OF THE SAN JACINTO GENERAL PLAN FOR THE SEGO
2 CYCLE OF THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 1990.
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS;

WHEREAS, Section 65631 of the Government Code provides
5 that no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended more
frequently than four time during any calendar year, and that the
6 City Council of the City of San Jacinto is amending the Land Use
Element of the San Jacinto General Plan for the second time during
7 the 1990 calendar year; and
g WHEREAS, the City Council of San Jacinto held a public
hearing on April 17, 1990 and made a determination that the Land
9 Use Element of the San Jacinto General Plan should be amended as
follows-.

A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced by GPA
11 1-90 and 4-90 and being assigned commercial and
residential land uses; as designated on Exhibit "A".

B. GPA 1-90 and 4-90 will enhance the logical
13 development of the City.
191 C. GPA 1-90 and 4-90 allow reasonable and proper use
of property in the vicinity of the amendment.

D. No significant environmental impact is expected fr
adoption of GPA 1-90 and 4-90.
171 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing an GPA 1-90
1 and 4-90 were published in accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3,
181 Title 7, of the Government Code, and
19:. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will not be
a significant impact upon the environment by right of this change
201 and adopts a Negative Declaration for General Plan Amendment 1-90
and 4-90.

Therefore the land use element of the General Plan is
22 amended in accordance with Exhibit "A".
