1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.
2 CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR
THE PER CAPITA GRANT PROGRAM UNDER THE CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE,
3 COASTAL, AND PARK LAND CONSERVATION ACT OF 1988 FOR THE
FOLLOWING PROJECTS_

5 2. Sallee Park
6 WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted
the California Wildlife, Coastal , and Park Land Conservation
Act of 1988, which provides funds to the State of California
and its political subdivisions for acquiring and/or developing
8 facilities for public recreational and open space purposes; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation has
been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the
10 program within the state, setting up necessary procedures
governing application by local agencies under the program; and
I1 WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department
I2 of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by
resolution the approval of applications ) before submission of
13 said applicationis ) to the state; and
14 WHEREAS, said application( s ) contain assurances that the
applicant must comply with; and
15 WHEREAS, the applicant will enter into an dgreement with
16 the State of California for acquisition or development of the
project( s) :
17 NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
18 City of San Jacinto hereby:
19 1. Approved the filing of an application for the Per Capita
Grant Program under the California Wildlife, Coastal, and Park
04 Land Conservation Act of 1988 state arant assistance for the
above project(s ) ; and
`1 2 . Certifies ttat said applicant understands the assurances
22 and certification in the application form; and
23 3 , Certifies that said applicant has or will have sufficient
funds to operate and maintain the project( s) ; and
24 a. Appoints the City Manager as agent of the City of San
25 Jacin=c to conduct all. negotiations, execute and submit all
documents including, but not limited to applications, agreements,
26 amendments , payment requests and so on, which may be necessary for
the completion of the aforementioned project( s) .
27 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 1990
