1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
2 LYON AVENUE, BETWEEN DEANZA DRIVE AND THE
SOUTHERLY CITY LIMITS.

4 This Resolution is adopted with reference to the following facts:
Lyon Avenue at present is not constructed to its ultimate width
5 and has minimum shou_der width which impedes safe and efficient
flow of traffic.

That it is the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer to create
7 a safer area and reduce possible vehicle vs. vehicle and vehicle
vs. pedestrian conflict if parking were prohibited and which
8 would permit a more positive flow of traffic.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Jacinto in regular session this 8th day of
10 May, 1990 as follows:
11 1. Council concurs with the findings at fact.
12 2. It is hereby directed that parking shall be prohibited
along the west side of Lyon Avenue, between DeAnza
13 and the southerly City limits.
14 3. It is hereby directed that parkinq shall be prohibited
15 along the east side of Lyon Avenue within 50 feet
each side of any existing gate or driveway.
�. 16 4. The Department of Public Works shall cause the
17i appropriate markings to be placed along Lyon Avenue
and this Resolution shall become effective upon the
i placement of such markings.

19 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution
10 MOVED, PASSED, AND ADOPTED AT REGULAR MEETING OF SAID
21 CITY COUNCIL duly held the 8th cay of. May, 1990.
