A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING AN
2 AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO FOURTH CYCLE OF
3 CALENDAR YEAR 1989.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY
5 RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
I
6 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides that
7 no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended more
frequently than four times during any calendar year, and
$ that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto is amending
the General Plan for the fourth time this year.
16 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held public hearings
regarding General Plan Amendment 14-89 on November 15, 1989,
11 which case contained proposals to amend the Land Use Element
of the City of San Jacinto.

13 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission made recommendations to the
City Council concerning amendments and has filed reports
14 with the City Council.
15 WHEREAS, The City Council on December 19, 1989 held a public
16 hearing regarding General Plan Amendment 14-89.

i WHEREAS, the City Council made the determination that:

i A. The existing land uses will be enhanced by approving
191 General Plan Amendment 14-89.
20 B. These amendments will enhance the logical growth of the
City.

C. Reasonable and proper use of the property will be
22 established by this resolution.
23 D. Negative Declaration were granted on all proposals.

WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed each Planning Commission j
25 recommendation including their Findings of Fact.

WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on General Plan
271 Amendment 14-89 was published in accordance with
I Article 5, Chapter 3, of Title 7 of the Government Code; and

29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, that the Land Use Element of the
30 General Plan is amended in accordance with Exhibits A.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council incorporates by
reference the Findings of Fact recommended by the Planning
Commission pertaining to General Plan Amendment 14-B9.

the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Reddinq, Divine, Rose, Boykin and Ford
4 NOES: None
ABSENT: None
