RESOLUTION NO. 1853

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING RATES FOR
THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND RUBBISH COLLECTED
l WITHIN OR BY THE SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO
2 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS!

Section 1. This resolution supersedes Resolution No. 2832,
4 adopted the 20th day of June 1989 .
5 Section 2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish
collected not less than twice during each calendar week, there
G shall be assessed and charged:
;a) For the owner or occupant of residences: $7.80 per
month.

(b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings
`) each having kitchen facilities: $7 .80 per month for
the first unit and $7 .28 for each additional unit to
regardless whether occupied or not.
11 (c) For the owner or operator of any commercial establish-
12 ment, except as set forth in sub-paragraph (d) below:
The rate of $4. 35 per cubic yard of volume of the
13 rubbish and trash containers maintained at each
establishment, provided, however, that in no event
14 shall the fee be less than $8 .80 per month. The
minimum charge for bin service shall be $34. 78.
15 (d) Mobilehome parks having refuse picked up at each
space but the fees are billed to and paid by the
rr 16 operator shall be charged on the same basis as sub-
17 paragraph (a) above.
18 other Mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial
rate if refuse is collected at central locations or
the residential rates of individual collection rates 75
and individual billing and payment.
20 (e) The City Council may provide that rubbish not included
21 within the definition of either "garbage" or "waste",
as provided in Section 13.68.010 of the Municipal code
be collected by the City for such charge the City

26 Section 3 . This rate resolution shall become effective for
the trash and refuse billing period first commencing December

28 Section 4. The City council does so resolve pursuant to
the authority vested in it by the provision of Section
29 13 ,68.140 of the San Jacinto Municipal Code.
