RESOLUTION NO. 1852
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL E
1 OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
2 CITY OF SAN JACINTO THIRD CYCLE OF
CALENDAR YEAR 1989 .
3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY
4 RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides that
no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended more
g frequently than four times during any calendar year, and
that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto is amending
7 the General Plan for the third time this year.
8 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing
regarding Genera] Plan Amendment 5-89 on May 10 and July 18,
9 1989, and General Plan Amendment 10-89 on September 13,
1989, which cases contained proposals to amend the Land Use
10 Element of the City of San Jacinto.
11 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission made recommendations to the
City Council concerning amendments and has filed reports
12 with the City Council .
13 WHEREAS, The City Council on September 5, 1989 held a public
hearing regarding General Plan Amendment 5-89 and on October
14 17, 1989 regarding General Plan Amendment 10-89.
15 WHEREAS, the City Council made the determination that ;
16 A. The existing land uses will be enhanced by approving
General Plan Amendment 5-89, and General Plan Amendment
17 10-89.
18 B. These amendments will enhance the logical growth of the
City.

C. Reasonable and proper use of the property will be
201 established by this resolution.
21 D. Negative Declaration were granted on both proposals.
22 WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed each Planning Commission
recommendation including their Findings of Fact.

WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on General Plan
24 Amendment 5-89 and General Plan Amendment 10-89 were
published in accordance with Article 5, Chapter 3, of Title
25 7 of the Government Code; and
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, that the Land Use Element of the
27 General Plan is amended in accordance with Exhibit A and B.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council incorporates by
reference the Findings of Fact recommended by the Planning
Commission pertaining to General Plan Amendment 5-89, and
1 General Plan Amendment 10-89.
2 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October 1989 by
the following vote:
