RESOLUTION NO_ 1845
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
ESTABLISHING A DISADVANTAGE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
2 (DBE) PROGRAM AND APPOINTING A DBE LIAISON
OFFICER AND ESTABLISHING DBE GOALS

i WHEREAS, 49 CFR Part 23 heretofore requires a Disadvantage
4 Business Enterprises (DEE) program for recipients of Department
of Transportation tunas; and
WHEREAS, the United States Federal Register states that
6 all subrecipients of Department of Transportation funds must
prepare their own DEE Program; and

WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto intends to be a sub-re-
cipient of Department Transportation funds ,-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto as follows:

1. The City hereby adopts the DBE Program, which is
11 attached hereto and made a part of this resolution;
12 2. The City Manager, Ross Nammar, is hereby appointed
as Lhe DBE Liaison Officer who duties and responsi-
13 bilities are defined in the DBE Program;
14 3. The following DBE goals are established for the period
of October 1, 1989 to September 30, 1990:
