, i A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE
1 ELEMENT OF THE SAN JACINTO GENERAL PLAN FOR THE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOGS HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS;
(� WHEREAS, section 65631 of the Government Code provides
that no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended more
frequently than four time during any calendar year, and that the
City Council of the City of San Jacinto is amending the Land Use
Element of the San Jacinto General Plan for the second time
9 during the 1989 calendar year; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of San Jacinto held a public
hearing on July 18, 1989 and made a determination that the Land
Use Element of the San Jacinto General Plan should be amended as!1
follows:
12 A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced by GPA
1� 5-89 and 6-89 and being assigned commercial and
Industrial land uses; as designated on Exhibits A
I4 & B.
B. GPA 5-89 and 6-89 will enhance the logical
15 development of the City,
1r C. GPA 5-89 and 6-89 allow reasonable and proper use
11 of property in the vicinity of the amendment.
]f3 D. No significant environmental impact is expected
from adoption of GPA 5-89 and 6-89,
19 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on GPA 5-89
�i� and 6-89 were published in accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3,
` Title 7, of the Government Code; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will not be
22� a significant impact upon the environment by right of this change
,and adopts a Negative Declaration for General Plan Amendment 5-89
2:3 and 6-89.
�1 Therefore the land use element of the General Plan is
amended in accordance with Exhibits A & B.
2.) MOVED, PASSED and ADOPTED the 18�th day of C,illyyy 1989
