A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN
' MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
6UNINHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS
ANNEXATION 90. 62
8WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the
City of San Jacinto; and
9 WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will
lU contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper
control of street layouts, sanitary sewer and water design
11 and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the
General Plan
12 NOW THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
13 1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto
14 proposes to initiate on its own motion proceedings to annex
to the City of San Jacinto all the territory hereinafter
15 described on Exhibit "A" as uninhabited territory pursuant to
the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act.
1G 2. That the territory which the Council proposes to
r.. 1 annex shall be identified as Annexation No. 62.
18 3. That the City Manager, or his designated
representative, is hereby authorized to file with the Local
I'J Agency Formation Commission the appropriate application and
sign any and all documents therefore.
20 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 16th day of May 1999.
