RESOLUTION NO. 1815
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE
CITY'S OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE UNION
OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the people of San Jacinto desire world peace ; and
WHEREAS, they believe the best opportunity for ensuring peace
lies in the better understanding between the people of the world ;
and
WHEREAS, members of the USA-USSR Historic Aviation Search, Inc.
.., will be visiting the Soviet Union to further cultural aviation exchange
and
WHEREAS, this visitation affords opportunity for the good people
of the San Jacinto Valley to extend a hand of friendship to the good
people of the Soviet Union .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San 3acinto , that Walter Kurilchyk, President ; Virginia Travis
Kurilchvk, Public Relations Officer; Alois W. Pastor, member of Board
of Directors , Priscilla Gorgas Pastor, Public Relations Officer,
shall be representatives of the Council charged with the responsi-
bility to take greetings and good wishes of the people of San Jacinto
to the citizens of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and encourage
visitation between our two communities .
MOVED, PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1989_
