I RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION
2 FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PER CAPITA rRANT PROGRAM
UNDER THE CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE, COASTAL, AND PARK

LAND CONSERVATION ACT OF 1988 FOR THE FOLLOWING
PROJECT:

BUENA VISTA RETENTION BASIN

WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted
(y the California Wildlife, Coastal, and Park Land Conservation
Act of 1988, which provides funds to the State of California
and its political subdivisions for acquiring and/or developing
facilities for public recreational and open space purposes; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation has
q been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the
y program within the state, setting up necessary procedures
10 governing application by local agencies under the program; and
lI WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department
of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by
12 resoiution the approval of application(s) before submission of
said application(s) to the state; and
13 WHEREAS, said application(s) contain assurances that the
14 applicant must comply with; and
15 WHEREAS, the applicant will enter into an agreement with
the State of California for acquisition or development of the
16 project(s ) :
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the CiLy of San Jacinto hereby:
18 1_ Approved the filing of an application for the Per Capita
19 Grant Program under the California Wildlife , Coastal, and Park
Land Conservation Act of 1988 state grant assistance for the
n0 above project(s ) ; and
21 2. Certifies that said applicant understands the assurances
and certification in the application form; and

~� 3. Certifies that said applicant has or will have sufficient
23 funds to operate and maintain the project(s) ; and
2414 . Appoints the City Manager as agent of the City of San Jacinto
to conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents
25 including, but not limited to applications, agreements, amendments
payment requests and so on, which may be necessary for the com-
26 pletion of the aforementioned project(s) .
27 MOVED. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of January, 1989 ,
