A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS
OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO A QUESTION RELATED TO THE OFFICE OF THE
CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to submit to the voters, at the election to be
held November 2, 1999, a question relating to the Office of the City Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council for the City of San Jacinto, California does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council, pursuant to its right and authority, does order
submitted to the voters at the General Municipal Election, the following question:
Shall the Office of the City YES
Treasurer be appointive?
NO
SECTION 2. Direct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary impartial analysis
for the ballot measure.
SECTION 3. The City clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.

NOES: Council Member Smedley
ABSENT: Council Members Conner and Williams
