A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE
CITY MANAGER DATED JUNE 17, 1986, PREPARED PURSUANT
TO .RESOLUTION. NO. 1647 (AND APPROVED PURSUANT TO
RESOLUTION NO. 164E OF SAID COUNCIL, AND THE PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, ESTIMATE, DIAGRAM AND ASSESSMENT
CONTAINED IN SAID REPORT, ORDERING CERTAIN STREET
LIGHTING FIXTURES AND . APPURTENANCES TO BE
MAINTAINED AND ELECTRIC CURRENT TO BE FURNISHED FOR
LIGHTING SAID FIXTURES AND. TO ORDER CERTAIN LAND—
SCAPING 10 BE MAINTAINED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1 , . 19Bb, AND LEVYING SAID ASSESSMENT
FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1 , 1986, THROUGH JUNE 30, 1907
(SAN JACINTO COMBINED L & L DISTRICTS)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto dial in
Resolution Ho. 1647 of said Council , pursuant to the provisions
of the "Landscaping and Lighting, Act of 1972, ( now Part 2 of
Division 15, Section 22500 at seq. , of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California) , require the City Manager of
said City to make and file with the Clerk of said City Council
a report in writing presenting certain matters relating to the
proposed Combined Street Lighting and Landscaping Maintenance
Districts as contemplated under the provisions of said Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager, pursuant to the requirements of
said City Council , expressed in said ReSolution No. lb�17, did
make and on the 17th day of June 19B6, file in the office of
the City Clerk ( who is ex—officio Clerk of the City Council )
of said Lity his report in writing responsive to the requir-e—
ments of said Resolution No. 1647 and as contemplated under
the provision of said Oct; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council did in Resolution No. 1648
approve said report on the 17th day of June, 1986, in
conformity with the provision of said Act; and
WHEREAS, said City Council did thereafter and on said 17th day
of June, 1986, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 16(19 de—
clearing its intention to order certain street lighting fixtures
and appurtenances to be maintained and electric current to be
furnished far- lighting said fixtures and to order certain land—
scaping to be maintained for the fiscal year beginning July 1 ,
1986; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place stated in said Resolution No.
1649 for hearing protests in reference to the proposed
` improvement and assessment said Council did proceed to hold

WHEREAS, at the time and place above statedfor heaein❑
protests in 'reference to the proposed improvement and
assessment , certain written protests and objections were
filed and Presented which said protests and objections were
fully and regularly heard and considered by the Council ; and
WHEREAS, said City Council being fully advised in the premises,
does hereby proceed as tollows:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SRN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER
AS FOLLows:
SECTION 1 . That said Council does hereby deny all protests
and objections and does hereby approve, confirm and adopt
the said report of said City Manager dated the 17th day ❑f
June, 1986, and does hereby approve and confirm the assessment
proposed for said proposed improvement set forth and referred
to in said report , which said report is now on file in the
Office of the City Clerk of said City, open to inspection,
hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and said City
Council does hereby also confirm and adopt the respective
instruments therein contained and designated therein as
Specifications. Diagram and Plan No. 1986-87 Estimate of Costs
and Assessment, all of which are on file as aforesaid, are
hereby incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION c. That said CouriciI dues bier Eby order the said
contemplated improvement to be made in accordance with the
said Plan and Specificatinns therefrr, S❑ adopted and approved,
and does hereby order and determine that the fiscal year
referred to in said Resolution of Intention No. 1649 shall be
and the same is hereby fixed and . established as the period
commencing on the 1st day of July 1396 and ending on the 30th
day of June 1987, bath dates inclusive, as therein set forth,
and said Council does hereby levy the said prupused total
assessment made to cover the ,costs and expenses of said
improvement upon the respective several Subdivisions of .and
in the assessment district described in said Resolution of
Intention No. 1649 and as fixed and determined by said rel,urt,

ordered to transmit , or cause to be transmitted, to the

which such levy ,s based, and the county lax Collector of
said cuu^t/ ( who is also the City Tax Collector for said

of all sxow^ in said ossessmerit and to perform
the acts and duties as are required by zaw or and to be

SECTION That the City clerk shall certify to the passage
arid adoption of this peso|uticn, shall cause the same to be
entered in the book of original ,esolutin"s of said City, and
shall make a minute or the passage and adoption thereof ;n
the record- of the proceedings of the City Council of said
� city in the minutes or the meeting at which the same is
passed and adopted.
SECTION b.- that this resolution shall take effect
immediately.
