1 RESOLUTION NO. 1616
9 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JAC'INTO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE
3 ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANINEXATION NO. 54
WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City of San
fi Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacirte will contribute to the
g orderly growth of the City, provide proper control of street layouts, sanita
g � sewer and water design and to insure proper use of land in conformity with
10 I the General Plan.
11 NOW THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED AS 101101-IS:
12 1. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes to initiate or
13 its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the terr-
14 tory hereinafter described on Exhibit "A" as uninhabited territory pursuant
15 to the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act.
16 2. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex shall be
17 identified as Annexation No. 54.
18 3. That the City Manager, or his designated representative, is hereby
19 ' authorized to file with the Local Agency Formation Commission the appropria
201 application and sign any and all documents therefore.
