A, RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
3 CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY BETWEEN TENTH
AND TWELFTH STREETS TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY

WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto has acquired twenty-five (25) acres be

tween loth and 12t17 Streets, o-iest of Santa Fe avenue for flood control our-

poses; and

IdHEREAS, :riverside County Flood Control District has informed the City
4 that 25 acres is not needed for the construction of the Buena Vista `etentic

Basin; and

41HEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 54222, the City Council he
11
offered the land for sale or lease to the County Housing Authority, the Citl
12
Redevelopment Agency, Valley-Side Recreation and park District, San Jacinto
13
1 Unified School District, the State Resources Agency, and no positive intere
14
has been indicated in the alloted sixty (60) days; and

WHEREAS, -there is no useful public purpose to put this land to at the

� present time, and the City would be better served by returning the property

to the tax rolls;

8' NO'I4, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declz
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property shouldbe iwediatety advert

for sale to the highest acceptable bidder.
