RESOLUTION NO. 1577
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JAENTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENT TO
2 THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE HEMET-SAN JACINTO
AREA.,PLAN FOR. THE FIRST CYCLE OF CALENDAR YEAR 1985.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLM%!S:
WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides that no panda- I
'51 tory element of a General Plan shall be amended more frequently than four
tines during any calendar year, and that the City Council of the City of
6 San Jacinto is amending the Land Use Element of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area
Plan for the first time during the 1985 calendar year; and
riHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto Planninn, Commission held a public
S nearing on change to the Land Use Element on February 4, 1985, and did adopt
Resolution No. 85-2 and making recommendations to the City Council concerning
9 the General Plan Amendment and has filed with the City Council copies of
map and report relating to the application; and

UHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto held a public
11` hearing on March 5, 1985, and made a determination that the Land Use Element
,
on the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan should be amended as follows:

A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced by CPA. 1-85
13 being assigned Mediun Density.
14'' B. GPA 1-85 will enhance the logical development of the City.
15 C. GPA 1-85 allows reasonable and proper use of property in the
vicinity of the amendment.

' D. No significant environmental impact is expected from adoption
lrI of GPA 1-85.
WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on GPA 1-85 was published
in accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3, of Title 7, of the Government Code;anc
Declaration for General Plan Amendment 1-85.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of
22 San Jacinto, that the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan be amended to reflect the
2Tjchange aforementioned for General Plan Amendment 1-85 as noted by Exhibit 'A
attached.
