I RESOLUTION NO. 1566
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENT TO
3 THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE HEMET-SAN JACINTO AREA
PLAN FOR THE FOURTH CYCLE OF CALENDAR YEAR 1984

WHEREAS, Section 65361 of, the Government Code provides that no mandatory
5 element of a General Plan shall be amended more frequently than four times
during any calendar year, and that the CityCouncil of the City of San Jacinto
6 is amending the Land Use Element of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan for the
second time during the 1984 calendar year; and

WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto Planning Commission held a public hear-
8 ing on change to the Land Use Element on December 3, 1984, and did adopt Reso-
lution In. 84-18 recommending to the City Council concerning the General Plan
g Amendment and has filed with the City Council copies of map and report re-
lating to the application; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto held a public hear-
ing on January 8, 1985, and made a determination that the Land Use Element
of the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan should be amended as follows:

A. The adoption of GPA 6-84 is consistent with the text of
13 the General Plan,
14 B. GPA 6-84 is compatible with surrounding General Plan
designations.

C. GPA 6-84 will enhance the logical development of the City.
16
D. Development must adhere to the City's Flood Damage Preven-
17 tion Ordinance.
18 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on GPA 6-34 was published in
accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3, Title 7, of the Government Code; and
in.
Declaration for General Plan Amendment 6-84.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
22 Jacinto that the Hemet-San Jacinto Area Plan be amended to reflect the change
aforementioned for General Plan Amendment 6-84 as noted by Exhibit "A"
23 attached. 7
