A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
9 JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THEANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SAN
4`' JACINTO DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 47.
5 MEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto adopted Resolution
No.1507, acknowledging receipt of the petition for annexation, consented to
fi such annexation and authorized the submittal of the appropriate application to
71 the Local Agency Formation Commission; and
9 4HEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission by Resolution No. 42-84
dated July 25, 1984, designated the City of San Jacinto as the conducting
10� authority and authorized the annexation designated Local Agency Formation Com- �
11�1 mission 84-41-3 to Proceed subject to the terms and conditions of the Govern-
ment Code Section 35000 et. seq; and
41HEREAS, on August 21 , 1984, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
12 adopted Resolution No. 1547 initiating proceedings for this annexation; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council , acting as the conducting authority, opened
14 the public hearing on October 2, 1984, and after receiving oral and written
testimony, closed the public hearing on said date; and
15 WHEREAS, t'ne City',Clerk has evaluated the sufficiency and value of
16 written and oral protests filed and not withdrawn in accordance with Govern-
ment Code commencing with Section 35000.
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
13 Jacinto finds, declares and determines as follovis:
19, 1 . That no valid written protest was filed and not withdrawn from
20 property owners within the affected territory.
2. The value of oral 'protests filed and not withdrawn regarding this pro
21
Posed annexation at the.public hearing represents less than 25 per cent of
22 the number of owners of land and less than 25 per cent of the total assessed
23 valuation wiIthin the affected territory.

241, The City Council declares that no respect to Annexation No. 47, and the territory is hereby ordered annexed to
251 the City of San Jacinto.
261 4. The territory referred to herein is described as set forth in
27 Exhibits "A" and "8", attached hereto and made a Part hereof.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to take the necessary steps to com-
plete this annexation as required by the Government Code.
3 ` MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council held
II the 2nd day of October 1' 84, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Rose, Stevens, Divine, Visser and Stuart

ANNEXATION NO. 47
Property Description
Those portions of Section 34, Township 4 Sourti, Range 1 {Vest , San
Bernardino Base and Meridian, and those portions of Section 3,
Township 5 South, Range 1 West , San Bernardino Base and Meridian
described as follows:
Commencing at the East quarter corner of said Section 34; thence
Southerly along the East line of the Southeast quarter of said
Section 34, a distance of 1643 feet, more or less , to the True
Point of Beginning, said point also being the point of intersection
of the centerlines of Santa Fe Street and Twolfth Street;
Thence Southerly, along the Easterly line of said Section 34,
said Easterly line also being the centerline of Santa Fe Street , a
distance of 996.21 feet , more or less, to the intersection of the
centerlines of Santa Fe Street and Esplanade :Avenue, also being the
Southeast corner of said Section 34;
Thence continuing Southerly, along the centerline of Santa Fe
Street, also being the Easterly line of Section 3 a distance of
1320 feet , more or less to the intersection of the centerlines of
Santa Fe Street and Oakwood Street;
Thence Westerly, along said centerline of Oakwood Street, a
distance of 1685.07 feet more or less, to the Westerly Right of
Way of said Juanita Street;
Thence Southerly, along said Westerly Right of Way ,
distance of 330.06 feet to the intersection of the Easterly exten—
sion of the Southerly line of Parcel 1, as shown by Map on file in
1 of 2 Exhibit "A"
Book 46 of Record of Surveys Page 38, Riverside County Records;
Thence Westerly, along said Southerly lane, a distance of 261. 72
feet , more or less, to the Easterly line of the Atchinson, Topeka,
and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way line; '
Thence rorther,ly , along the PaSterly li_:,e of said right-of-way,
a distance of 33O.06 feet , more or less, to the intersection of the
Westerly extension of the centerline of Oakw:,od Street and said
Easterly line of the :Atchinson, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad right-
of-way;
Thence Westerly, along said Westerly extension of the center-
-line of Oakwood Street , a distance of 694.0 feet , more or less, to
the intersection of the centerline of State Street and said Westerly
extension of the centerline of Oakwood Street ;
Thence Northerly, along said centerline of State Street, a dis-
tance of 1320.0 feet, more or less, to the intersection of the
centerlines of Esplanade Avenue and State Street;
Thence Easterly along said centerline of Esplanade avenue, a
distance of 674.0 feet more or 'less, to the Easterly right-of-way
line of the Atchinson, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad;
Thence northerly, along said Easterly right-of-way, a distance
of 996.21 feet, more or less, to the interse•-tion of the extension
of the centerline of Twelfth Street and said Easterly right-of-way
line of the Atchinson, Topeka, and the Santa Fe Railroad;
Thence Easterly, along said extension of the centerline of
Twelfth Street , a distance of 1968.05 feet , chore or less, to the
True Point of Beginning.
Annexation Contains 127 acres , more or less.
