13 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, OE7ERMINE ,AND ORDER AS FCLLO'dS:

14 Section 1 . ?hat pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State - `
California relatina to General Law Cities within said State, there shall be
15 and there is hereby Called and ordered, held in the City of San Jacinto, Cat
fornia, on Tuesday, November 8, 1983, a regular municipal election of the
16 qualified electors of said City for the purpose of electinn 2 members of
the City Council of said City for the full term of four years, a City Clerk
17 of said City for the full term of four years and a City Treasurer of said
City for the fell term of four years.

Section 2. That said Cit', Council , pursuant to its right and authority
19 so to do, does hereby determine that there mall be and there is hereby
ordered submitted to the qualified electors of said City at said regular

I Section 3. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be, both
2g as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by law to be
used thereat.

Section 4_ That the City Clerk of said City =s hereby authorized, in-
30 structed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official Lallets,
I notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that
31 may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct said election.
32,I Secticn 5. -:hhat the polls for said election shall he open at seven

1 ' o'clock a.m. of the day of said election and shrill remain open continuously
from said time until 8 o'clock p.m. of the same day when said polls shall be
2 closed, except as provided in Section 14301 of the Elections Code of the
State of California.

Section 6. That in all particulars not recited in this Resolution, said
4; election shall be held and conducted as provided by law for holdinq municipal
elections in said City.

Section 7. That notice of the time and place of holding said election is
6 hereby qiven, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, instructed and directed
to qive such further or additional notice cf said election in time, -Form and
7 manner as required by, law.
81 Section S. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption,
of t Z olution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions

J of said City and shall make a minute of passage and adoption thereof in the
records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of
10 the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
