JACINTO ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF RESOLUTIONS AND
311 REPORTS OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

WHEREAS, the Sac Jacinto Redevelopment Agencv has prepared a proposed Re-
7 development Plan for the San Jacinto Re'develcement Project Area and transmitted
said documents to the Planning Commission for their report and recommendations;

V WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto has prepared a written report pursuant to
the Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, rcoarding environmental
loll) impact of the proposed Redevelocment Plan; and
11j WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency has prepared a report our-
1 suart to Section 33352 of the California Health and Safety Code relative to
121 the proposed Redevelopment Plan and Environmental Impact Report; and
1311 WHEREAS, the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment
14:� Project Area and the draft Environmental Impact Report have been submitted to
the appropriate County and State agencies for review, corwiert, and report pur-
suarit to the California Redevelopment Law and the California Environmental
15 . duality Act of 1970, as amended; and
16:� WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Section 33355 and 33458
17:1 of the California Health and Safety Code) authorized a joint public hearing on
1 the proposed Redevelopment`Plan and Project Area with the consent of the City
18i Council o` the City of San Jacinto and San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency on May 3, 1983, adopted
lol Resolution No RDA-83-4 consenting to a joint special public hearing with this
City Council and has requested the City Council to consent to a joint public
201 hearing and set the time and place for same; and
21�'1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto has received from the
22 ' San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency Resolution No RDA.-83-3, the proposed San
Jacinto Redevelopment Plan and Project. Area, the nvircnmentai Impact Report,
and the Agency Section 33352 Report.

HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED ANC ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
24 OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, AS FOLLOWS:

25{I Section 1. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto does hereby receive

and file all resolutions, reports and documents as are herein set forth.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto hereby consents to
27 a joint special public hearira with the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency to can
28jj Sider adoption of the Droposed Redevelopment Plan and the approval and certifi-
cation of the final Environmental Impact Report, and +urther, hereby establishes]
9 the time, date and place for said public nearing at 7:00 p.m., June 16, 1933, at�
an Jacinto Community Center, 525 S. Pico, San Jacinto, California.
30i1 Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto, in cooperation with
31 �� the Executive Director of the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency, shall_
Publish the notice of said joint special public hearing once per week

�. Mail the notice of said joint public hear'ng to the last known assessee
3j of each parcel of land in the area designated in the aforesaid re-
development project plan at his last known address as shown on the last
4 equalized assessment roll of the County of Riverside; or to the owner
i of each parcel of land within such boundaries as such ownership is shown
5 I on the recorus of said Co.inty recorded thirty (30) days ��rior to the
date notice is published Copies of the notices shall r1so be Tailed to
6 the governing body of each of the taxing agencies which levies taxes
upon any property in the Project Area aeSisnated in the proposed Pe-
7 i development Plan for the San Jacinto RedeVelooment project Area. I
Section 4. The Clty Clerk of the City of San -acintc shall forthwith trans
nit a copy of this Resolution to the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency and the
g Running Commission of the City of San Jacinto.
