A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY
OF RIVERSIDE AND CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE
PROTECTION TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION, FIRE PREVENTION, RESCUE, AND
MEDICAL AID SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO SIGN SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto wishes to contract for fire protection, fire
prevention, rescue, and medical aid services and,
WHEREAS, the County of Riverside contracts with the California Department of
Forestry under a master cooperative fire protection, fire prevention, rescue, and medical aid
agreement and,
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto, the County of Riverside and the State of
California will benefit from this cooperative agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The City Council approves the cooperative agreement with the County of
Riverside for this provision of fire protection, fire prevention, rescue, and medical aid
services, and
2. The Mayor of the City of San Jacinto is hereby authorized to execute the
cooperative agreement on behalf of the City of San Jacinto.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED the 1st day of August, 1995 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Leahy, Oaks , Williams , Mayor Solorio
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Seat Vacant
ABSTAIN: None
