A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS
OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO A QUESTION RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF
THE CITY CLERK, AND CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to submit to the voters, at the election to be held
June 7, 1994, a question relating to the Office of the City Clerk, and the Office of the
City Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, does
hereby RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE and ORDER as follows:
Section 1 That the City Council, pursuant to its right and authority, does
order submitted to the voters at the General Municipal Election the
following question:
SHALL THE OFFICES OF CITY CLERK AND CITY TREASURER BE APPOINTIVE?
YES OR NO
Section 2 That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
Resolutions of the City of San Jacinto; and shall make a minute of
passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of
the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, in the minutes of the
meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
ADOPTED, SIGNED and APPROVED this 1st day of February, 1994 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Solorio, Williams, Mayor Hafliger
NOES: Councilmember Leahy
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
