A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE 1994-95 FISCAL YEAR
ANNUAL UPDATE OF; AND ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO; LANDSCAPING,
LIGHTING AND PARK DISTRICT NO. 1; A CITYWIDE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT;
PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972.
The City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council is considering and, therefore, proposes to update Landscaping,
Lighting and Park District No. 1 for Fiscal Year 1994-95, pursuant to the Landscaping and
Lighting Act of 1972 (Section 22500 and following, Streets and Highways Code) for the purpose
of the following improvements:
Maintaining and servicing street lighting, street trees, parkways, median islands,
and city parks; and graffiti removal.
This assessment district includes the land within the city limits of the City of San Jacinto.
Section 2. The City Council, is considering and, therefore, proposes to annex territory into
Landscaping, Lighting and Park District No. 1. Said territory includes recent annexations to the
City of San Jacinto including Annexation Nos. 59, 66, 70, 71, and 71-A.
Section 3. GFB-Friedrich & Assoc.,Inc. is hereby designated engineer for the purpose of these
annual update and annexation proceedings. The City Council hereby directs the engineer to
prepare and file with the City Clerk a report in accordance with Article 4 of Chapter 1 of the
Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. The engineer shall also prepare and file a diagram
indicating the territory proposed to be annexed into the assessment district.
Section 4. The Mayor shall sign this resolution and the City Clerk shall attest and certify to the
passage and adoption thereof.
