A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
OF PROJECT C.A.R.E. (COMMUNITY ACTION TO REACH THE ELDERLY).
WHEREAS, growing needs for seniors and other conditions create a special concern
for the well-being and safety of seniors and disabled citizens of the City of San Jacinto;
and
WHEREAS, several private, public, and community organizations within the City of
San Jacinto are joining together to meet these needs by establishing a "safety net"
called Project Care to follow up systematically on various indications of need and to
centralize such coordination under the United States Post Office and the Riverside
County Office on Aging.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of San Jacinto supports the
goals and objectives of Project Care and considers it to be a valuable and important
program for its senior and disabled citizens and their families.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacinto that the
City Clerk shall certify to the passage hereof and cause this resolution to be entered into
the minutes of the City Council meeting.
