11 RESOLUTION NO. 713
21 RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO
3 , INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO
ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
6 1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for the
7 reasons hereinafter mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own
81i motion, as soon as it can legally do so, proceedings to annex to
91 the City of San Jacinto all of the territory hereinafter described,
10 as uninhabited territory, under provisions of the Annexation of
11 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300
i
12 to 35326, inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of
13 California.
14 2 . That the Council ' s reasons for proposing to initiate
15 said annexation proceedings are as follows : The annexation of the E
16 hereinafter described territory will contribute to the orderly (!
17!1 growth of the City, provide the proper control of street layout,
18 ! drainage, sanitary sewer design, insure proper use of land in E
1
19 conformity with the overall zoning plan of the city, and extend j
20 11 i municipal services and additional fire protection to the territory,
21�1 included the new high school to be constructed.
22I 3 . That the territory which the Council proposes to annex
23 is hereby identified as "Annexation No. 7", and consists of all

I All that uninhabited territory situated in the County of Riverside,

ff 2 State of California, and described as follows:

3 All of Farm Lots 31, 33, 36, 38, 40, and 42 and a portion of Farm
4 Lot 34 of the Lands of the San Jacinto Land Association as shown
5 by Map on file in Book 8, Page 357 of Maps, Records of San Diego
6 County, California, being in Section 27, Township 4 South, Range 1
7 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in said Riverside County,
8 California, being more particularly described as follows:
9 Beginning at the most Easterly corner of said Farm Lot 42, said

10 corner also being on the centerline of Idyllwild Drive, said
11 Idyllwild Drive also being known as North Central Avenue;
12 Thence Southwesterly along the Southeasterly line of said Farm Lot
13 42 a distance of 30.00 feet to an intersection with the South-
14 westerly right-of-way line of said Idyllwild Drive, said inter-
15 section also being the most Northerly corner of the City Limits
16 of the City of San Jacinto, California;
17 Thence continuing Southwesterly along said Southeasterly line of
18 Farm Lot 42, and along the City Limits line of said City of San
19 Jacinto, California, a distance of 1290 feet to the most Southerly
20 corner of said Farm Lot 42, said corner also being on the center-
21 line of Central Avenue, said Central Avenue also being known as
22 Ramona Boulevard;
23 Thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of said Farm
24 Lots 42, 40, 38, and 36, and along said centerline of Central
25 Avenue, a distance of 2640 feet to the most Westerly corner of

6 intersection also being on the Northeasterly line of said Lot 34;
7 Thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of said Lots
8 34, 36, 38, 40, and 42 a distance of 3058 feet to the Point of
9 Beginning.

1 4. That the Planning and Development Assistant of the City
2 of San Jacinto is hereby directed to file with the Boundary
3 Commission and with the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
4 County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to initiate
5 proceedings to annex the hereinabove described uninhabited terri-
6 tory to the City of San Jacinto, and to request approval of the
7 Local Agency Formation Commission as provided for in Section 35002
8 of the Government Code.
9i ADOPTED THIS 9th day of November, 1966, by the following
