2 A RESOLUTION RULING ON OBJECTIONS TO THE
PROPOSED REMOVAL OF WEEDS.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. dY/ the City Council of the
4 City of San Jacinto did find certain noxious and/or dangerous weeds
to be growing in or upon or adjacent to the streets, sidewalks and
5 private property in the city and declared the same to be a public
nuisance;

AND WHEREAS by the same resolution they City Council called
7 for a public hearing to be held on MAY at
the hour of 7 :30 P.M. at the City 0 ices at 131 East Main Street,
8 San Jacinto, California;
9 AND WHEREAS notice of said resolution and of said hearing
was duly posted in accordance with Sections39564 through 39567 of
10 the Government Code;
11 AND WHEREAS said hearing was duly held and MO ob-
jections were made to the proposed removal of weeds at said hearing;

AND WHEREAS the City Council- of the City of San Jacinto
13 finds that noxious and/or dangerous weeds are growing in or upon or
adjacent to real property described in Attachment "A to Resolution
14 No. &7( except as follows : none .

17 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto, State of California, in regular session
18 assembled on this day of M 1966, as follows:
19 1. All objections made to the proposed removal of weeds
are hereby overruled except as follows : none..

2 . The Superintendent of Public Works is hereby ordered
.23 to cause the abatement and removal of the weeds described on or
adjacent to the real property described in Attachment "A" to
24 Resolution No. 6 V in accordance with the procedure of Section
39572 et seq .

3 . The Superintendent of Public Works shall keep an account,
26 of the cost to abate the public nuisances herein directed and to I
submit his itemized written report to this Council as required by
27 law.
28 4. The City Clerk is directed to set a public hearing for 1
hearing the report of the Superintendent of Public Works as herein
29 directed at least three days later than the filing of the report
in her office by the Superintendent of Public Works . The City Clerk
30 shall post a copy of the said report at least three days prior to
the hearing on the same on or near the Chamber doors of this City
31 Council together with a notice of the time of the public hearing
at which the report will be submitted for approval by this Council.
