1 RESOLUTION NO. 171
2 A RESOLUTION NOTIFYING THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS THAT THE CITY OF SAN
3 JACINTO DESIRES TO BECOME PART OF THE COUNTY
FREE LIBRARY SYSTEM.

5 WHEREAS, there exists in the County of Riverside, a county
free library system, and

WHEREAS, advantages can be gained for the residents of the
7 City of San Jacinto through the City` s participation in the county
free library system, and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 27154 and 27157 of the Edu-
9 cation Code of the State of California, the City Council has met all
the requirements of law for requesting participation in the county
10 free library system, including the giving of notice and the con-
ducting of hearings before the City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
12 sitting in regular session this 8th day of March, 1966, does resolve;
as follows :

Section 1. That pursuant to Section 27154 of the Education
14 Code of the State of California, the Honorable Board of Supervisors
of Riverside County, California, is hereby notified that the City
15 of San Jacinto desires to become a part of the Riverside County Free
Library System.

Section 2 . The City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto is
17 directed to send properly certified copies of this resolution to the
Honorable Board of Supervisors of Riverside County, California

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this _day of March, 1966 .
