2 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ANGLE PARKING ON
MAIN STREET BETWEEN JORDAN AND PICO STREETS.

4 WHEREAS, Section 22503 of the Vehicle Code authorizes
municipal corporations to permit angle parking on any roadway;

AND WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 358 of the City of San Jacinto
6 authorizes the establishment of angle parking zones within the City
of San Jacinto by ordinance or by resolution;

AND WHEREAS, by a survey made with the merchants and other
8 persons doing business on Main Street near the intersection of San
Jacinto Street in the City of San Jacinto, it has been determined I
9 that the large majority of said persons favor the use of angle
parking on Main Street;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
11 City of San Jacinto, State of California, in special session
assembled this 2nd day of March, 1966, due notice having been given
12 as required by the provisions of the Government Code to the
respective members of the Council and to all other persons having
13 heretofore requested notice of the same in writing, as follows :
14 1. That angle parking shall be permitted on both sides of
Main Street in the City of San Jacinto between the intersection of
15 Pico Street on the west and Jordan Street on the east .
16 2 . The traffic engineer is hereby directed to cause signs
or markings to be placed on said street indicating the angle to the
17 curb at which parking shall be allowed and indicating those portions
adjacent to the curb on said street that are suitable for use for
18 parking purposes .
19 ADOPTED the 2nd day of March, 1966, and signed this
day of March, 1966 .
