2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
3 OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE TO PERMIT THE COUNTY
(I CLERK OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES
4 TO THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, RELATING TO THE
CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
5h HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 12, 1966.
6II WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in the
7 City of San Jacinto on April 12, 1966; and
I WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in
8 relation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and
91 polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and it
will facilitate such mailing if the County Clerk of the County of
Riverside will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the
10 ' names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on
envelopes furnished by the City and insert therein sample ballots
11 and polling place cards; and
12 WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service
13 shall be paid by the City of San Jacinto;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
14 * does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows :
15 SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003
of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council
16 hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit
the County Clerk to prepare and furnish to said City, for use in
17 conducting said election to be held on April 12, 1966, the imprinting
of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City,
18 on envelopes furnished by the City and insert therein sample
19 ballots and polling place cards .
SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for
201: services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation
21 to the City of a properly approved bill.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to for-
22 ward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said County
23 Clerk each a certified copy of this resolution.
