2 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BORROWING OF
3I MONEY FROM UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK.
4 ' WHEREAS, THE City of San Jacinto has contracted for the pure
5 chase of a new fire truck from Seagraves Corporation;

6 AND WHEREAS, the United California Bank has offered to lend 1
7 the sum of $20,000 .00 for a period ofthree hued.i��
8 days at the rate of four and one-half (42) per cent
9 ' per annum to the City of San Jacinto; and
10 WHEREAS, the Mayor,- Odas 0. Rose, of said city, together with
Ili the Deputy City Clerk, Dorothy Isom., have executed in the name of
12 , the City a certain promissory note dated ,j , � 1965
13 , in the face amount of $20,000 .00 for a period of _tbree hundred ,
14 rst -five days at the rate of four and one-half per cent per;
15 annum, a copy of which note is attached hereto marked "Exhibit `A"'
161 which is hereby incorporated herein by;reference,
17 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
18 of San Jacinto, State of California, in regular session assembled
191, this 7-th day of September, 1965, that the Mayor, Odas 08 Rose,
20 '! together with the Deputy City Clerk, Dorothy Isom, are hereby
211 authorized and empowered to borrow the sum of $20,000.00 for a

23 , one-half percent per annum interest and said officers are further
2a duly empowered and authorized to execute that certain promissory
