2 The removal of the city maneger from office shall be only an a
3 majority vats cf the wshnje city council. In case of his intended
4 remmval, tha city msnagRr shall be furnished with a written natice
5 stating the city council's intention to remove him anti the rsaBans
6 t1Mrrfcrg at least thirty days before the effective date of ramoval.
7 Within seven days after the furnishing of the city maniger of such
8 notice, he may, by writing, addressed to the city council and delivered
9 to the city clerk, re;.iuest a public hearing before the city council.
10 Therojjparj, the mayor shall fix a time for such public hearing. Such
11 hearing shall be held at the tisual meeting place of thV city council,

22 After furnishing the city managor with urittan notion of his intends-,
23 romovtal from office, the city council may suspend him from further ,duty,
24 but his compensation shall continue until his removal by motion of the
city council, duly made and passed subsequent to the public henring
25 described in section 2-15. (Ord. No. M6t B. )
