A RESOLUTION REQUESTING WIDENING
OF SEVENTH STREET
WHEREAS, Seventh Street between the intersections "
of Hewitt Street and Cecelia Drive in and adjacent to the
City of San Jacinto is too narrow; for reasonable public use,
and the improvement and widening of said street is most
worthy, and
WHEREAS, that property most reasonably and con-
venient to use for the widening of said street is located
in the County of Riverside outside the limits of the City
of San Jacinto,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council
of the City of San Jacinto, State of California, in regular
session assembled this 5th day of January, 1965, does here-
by petition the Honorable Board of Supervisors of Riverside
County, State of California, to cause the widening of said
street by purchase or by exercise of the power of eminent
domain to acquire a right of way of reasonable and sufficient
width and to improve the same for public travel, the City
Council accepts the proposition that the reasonable costs
for the purchase or condemnation of the said right of way
incurred by the County of Riverside will be reimbursed by
the City of San Jacinto.
ADOPTED this 5th day of January, 1965 , and signed
